Diane Chater’s Xmas tree & red Leucothoeclick HERE
DIANE CHATER says … My 1st photo is of myChristmas tree. When I brought the Christmas tree with roots from a well know supermarket I planted it up in a bigger pot kept it inside over Christmas (2019) took it outside and let it do its own thing for the rest of the year and it just thrived but I honestly didn`t think it would survive another Christmas (2020) inside so have decided as long as it keeps thriving outside I will leave it in its pot and use it for an outside Christmas decoration for my porch 2nd Photo is a Leucothoe – not sure of the variety and I must say the photo doesn’t give it justice but it makes a smashing evergreen plant for a winter container. Shiny evergreen variegated foliage turning rich red throughout the winter months. The pots in the porch rotate between summer and winter. The winter ones are under-sown with dwarf wallflowers for early spring flowering.
